About Braille

  • Raised in Mount Kisco from the age of four, now the youngest candidate at twenty‐three.
  • Graduate of Fox Lane High School; studied philosophy and theology in Florence, Italy.
  • Currently working as a Fire Equipment Inspector.
  • Serves on the Mount Kisco Ethics Board.
  • Volunteer firefighter in Mount Kisco.
  • Former employee of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester and volunteer at the interfaith food pantry.
  • Experience working in the Bedford Town Court and at an airplane‐parts company in Armonk.

Priorities

Public Safety & Parks

Braille believes every neighborhood should be safe. He will work to deter loitering and public intoxication, support our police and fire departments, and establish a park‑ranger program to keep trails and parks safe. With firsthand experience as a firefighter, he’s also determined to enforce building codes and address dangerous overcrowding in residential buildings.

Compassionate Solutions to Homelessness

“Homelessness is a humanitarian crisis that deserves compassion. Braille proposes appointing a county liaison to coordinate with non‑profits, social‑service agencies and neighboring governments. He believes in meeting people where they are, understanding their needs and bringing resources together to help them get back on their feet.

Fiscal Responsibility

Braille will fight wasteful spending, protect taxpayers and keep county budgets lean. He knows that government must live within its means so families and small businesses can thrive without being squeezed by rising costs.
